The Wizard Exploratorium® Terms & Conditions

General Terms and Conditions:

By making a reservation at The Wizard Exploratorium (London) you agree to our reservation and cancellation terms.  We wish to thank you for your understanding and co-operation and look forward to welcoming you to your experience with us.

All purchases are final and non-refundable. Your debit/credit card details are required for all purchases. These details will be held in a secure PCI-DSS compliant vault. There is a payment processing fee charged per-ticket at the time of payment and VAT is included in ticket price.

The Wizard Exploratorium relies upon bookings being honoured by our guests or sufficient notice being given of any requested changes to reservations as well as correct booking details in order to correspond and fulfill the reservation made.  The Wizard Exploratorium is not responsible for an incorrect or misspelled name, email address or any other details provided at the time of booking.

Unfortunately we are unable to hold unconfirmed reservations that have not been paid in full.  A booking is not confirmed without a booking confirmation email.

You may be required to provide proof of purchase upon attempt to redeem any tickets or reservations made. The best way to do this is to show a confirmation email or other written correspondence from our own support channels. As a result you should avoid forwarding your confirmation email or communication to external parties.

Bookings may be rescheduled if the guest has established contact using the contact form on our website (wizardexploratorium.io/contact) with at least 48 hours before the start of the scheduled reservation.  Contact made by other means has no guarantee of reaching The Wizard Exploratorium and is insufficient for rescheduling a booking. All re-booking dates and times are subject to availability, which can be checked using the booking calendar shown on the relevant experience’s webpage.  The Wizard Exploratorium is not responsible for unavailable booking dates and times.

Any attending customer who appears to be intoxicated may not be admitted or may be removed from the premises at any time and no refund or reschedule will be offered.

Any attending customer who behaves aggressively or is perceived by management to be behaving aggressively, may be removed from the premises at any time and no refund or reschedule will be offered.

If you are unsatisfied with your experience, we would encourage you to be in touch with our support team at exploratoriumsupport@thecauldron.io.  Should communication reach the point of requesting a refund or reschedule of some sort, please note that any offers or guarantees made by on-site staff, verbal or written do not serve as sufficient covenant to warrant a final outcome. Any such decision will only be confirmed in writing from a customer support channel following investigation (which will include recommendation from on-site staff). Decisions made by online support channels will be in line with relevant Terms and Conditions and will be final. No refunds of any kind will be made available on site in the form of cash or credit.

Reservations may not be switched with other venues around the world or with other concepts, pop-ups or establishments, either partnered with The Wizard Exploratorium or not. Your reservation will only be relevant and valid to the venue it has been made with. In case of error the customer must contact our support channels exploratoriumsupport@thecauldron.io more than 48 hours before the reservation is due to begin, at a minimum.

To enjoy the full experience we ask that customers arrive 10-15 minutes before the start time of their Experience in order to check in.  If customers arrive after the start time of their booking, they may not be admitted to the experience area at all and could miss the entirety of the session. In this scenario, in order to respect the quality and continuity of other participants' experiences, rescheduling, refunding or other arrangements may not be offered and are not the responsibility of The Wizard Exploratorium to provide.

Unfortunately the venue is not suitable for individuals that require disabled access. The Wizard Exploratorium does not have baby changing facilities at the venue. Pushchairs are not permitted in the experiences but can be left collapsed on the ground floor.

The Wizard Exploratorium reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.

1. Covid19

During the course of government mandated restrictions and prohibitions due to the Global Covid19 Pandemic, The Wizard Exploratorium will operate entirely within the adjusting guidelines at all times, in order to provide a safe environment for customers, staff and the wellbeing of the wider community.

Furthermore, all experiences and interactions taking place have been individually assessed to continue this position and social distancing will be in practice around the venue. In purchasing a ticket or entering the store, all customers are agreeing to respect and act within the guidelines at all times in order to have their reservations and purchases fulfilled. Deliberate or gross infringement upon any guides set out, could result in the reservation and/or experience being terminated at any time and not being refunded.

Upon arrival and before entry, we may require each member of your party to submit their information to facilitate effective contact tracing should it prove necessary.  This information will only be shared with the relevant government body in the event of a public health crisis.

Other actions being taken to maintain a safe environment may change from time to time and may include and not be limited to:

  • Maintaining appropriate social distance as requested by staff

  • Wearing Masks/Gloves as required

  • Temperature readings being taken

  • Required sanitising upon entry or interaction with certain exhibits or experiences

If you appear to be unwell with Covid-related symptoms (including the failing of a temperature reading) you may be asked to leave the premises or refused entry. Under these circumstances your reservation may be rescheduled to a later date, regardless of the 48 hour restrictions included in our “General Terms and Conditions”.

Additionally if you are hospitalised, require medical attention or are forced to self-isolate due to a Covid-related illness or exposure then your reservation may also be rescheduled regardless of the 48 hour restrictions included in our “General Terms and Conditions.”  Please note that  evidence of formal notice may be required to validate this.

If you are part of a group, only the affected individual may receive a reschedule. On-site management will advise how to proceed but please note that any final decisions will be made in writing by customer support channels only. Verbal offers or guarantees made to unaffected individuals by on site staff do not serve as sufficient warranty for reschedules or refunds and no refunds of any kind will be made available on site in the form of cash or credit.
Covid19 Terms and Conditions do not extend to other illnesses or incidents unrelated to Covid exposures. In any non-covid related situations, “General Terms and Conditions” will apply.

The Wizard Exploratorium reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.

2. Ticket Types

2.1 Magic Wand Experience

Ticket type: Build your own Magic Wand

All Terms & Conditions from the “General Terms and Conditions” section above, apply to this ticket type.

This ticket type entitles you to customise and construct your own working, illuminated magic wand during a 30 minute (approximately) experience and tutelage. The wand created during your experience is yours to keep following the session and will be compatible for use with other Wands and Wizard’s Exploratorium interactive properties or products.  A “working” magic wand is not actually magic (but science) and can only control specific objects and illuminates through capacitive touch when gripped appropriately. Upon wand completion, unused parts will be collected by the Wandmaker and returned to their inventory. These are not included with your magic wand package.

This ticket is redeemable only at Wands and Wizard Exploratorium (London) (referred to commonly as The Wizard Exploratorium), located at 26 Greek Street, London, W1 5DE.This ticket is redeemable only once and at a specific time as outlined during your reservation process or through written rescheduling via our support channels (reachable at exploratoriumsupport@thecauldron.io).  If you do not know or are having difficulty ascertaining when your reservation is due to take place, or require clarification any other details, you should contact these support channels immediately using the email address linked with your reservation.

This ticket cannot be swapped for other tickets for venues either linked or partnered with The Wizard Exploratorium or otherwise. This ticket also has no monetary or transactional value.

This reservation will only entitle you to one magic wand per maker, per experience. Any parts not used in the construction of your magic wand remain property of the Wizard Exploratorium.

Payment for this ticket type will be made in full, online and in advance of the start of the reservation. Tickets may also be available to purchase at the venue, but all details will go through and remain within online channels. Availability to be able to purchase tickets at the venue is not guaranteed.

One ticket will allow one wand-maker and one assistant. At least one of these people must be aged 12 or above, and the assistant must be above age 16. In all cases both individuals must be aged 8 or above as the Magic Wand Experience contains small parts that could pose a choking hazard to infants and toddlers. Direction on how to correctly use these components will be provided and responsibility for injury or accident occurring through misuse of any parts lies entirely with the customer.

An assistant per maker is not required and the maker may attend on their own or in the company of other, separately purchasing makers.

Due to the theatrical and interactive nature of the Magic Wand Experience, each maker must build at their own separate workspace.  There is no guarantee that workspaces will be adjoining but reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate this.

Any makers or assistants that breach any of these terms and conditions or the general terms and conditions may be removed from the experience. In the case of this involving a person under the age of 12, both maker and assistant will be removed. Additionally makers or assistants continuously disrupting the Experience to the detriment of other participants may also be removed.  All reasonable measures and tolerances will be allowed for young children.

An assistant is not permitted to make their own magic wand or take any of the materials on offer to the maker.

Custom magic wands made during the experience are non-refundable, however the Experience will guarantee you one magic wand that illuminates and is interactive with other relevant products, exhibits and technologies provided or purchased from the Wands and Wizards Exploratorium or The Cauldron® online store (accessible at shop.thecauldron.io)

To enjoy the full experience we ask that customers arrive 15 minutes before the start time of their Experience in order to check in.  If customers arrive after the start time of their booking, they may not be admitted to the experience area at all and could miss the entirety of the session. In this scenario, in order to respect the quality and continuity of other participants' experiences, rescheduling, refunding or other arrangements may not be offered and are not the responsibility of The Wizard’s Exploratorium to provide.

This experience contains flashing lights, loud sounds, wind, and smoke.

The Wizard Exploratorium reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time.
